Cassia has relationships with both Xander and Ky. Xander has been her best friend and neighbor for a long time, while Ky was always a mysterious and quiet boy. He would talk to Cassia once in awhile, but she didn't know much about him. Cassia got to know Ky more when he hiked with her at the same time. She learned that Ky was very smart and had desires like her, to write poems and songs even though the Society didn't allow it. Although Ky showed Cassia how to write, I think that I like her better with Xander. Xander was Matched with her first, so she should stick with him. He's always been there for her, and she was happy about him being her Match until the glitch of Ky came on the micro card. I think Cassia wouldn't have been so curious about Ky if she hadn't seen his face on the micro card. I feel that it would be safe for Cassia to try to not talk to Ky, so she doesn't develop feelings for him. Feelings for Ky would hurt Xander and complicate everything. The Society wouldn't like that, and Cassia could get in a lot of trouble. Also, Ky is a Abberation, so it could be hard to be with him. She should learn to love her real Match, which is Xander, so that there isn't secrecy and drama in her life, which is supposed to be "perfect".
