Matched post 1
The novel Matched by Ally Condie has many twists and turns and many interesting conflicts. One of the main conflicts is forbidden love. In the novel, Cassia is matched by the government with her long time best friend Xander. But something goes wrong with the system and a different familiar face pops up on the screen which is Ky Markham. However, Ky Markham is a single because someone in his family committed a crime. Over time Cassia starts to spend more and more time with Ky and she starts to fall in love with him. I think Cassia should be with Ky because Cassia and Ky are complete opposites and opposites attract. Cassia is more outgoing and Ky is more mysterious and shy. Also Ky taught Cassia how to write. In the end of the novel we discover that Cassia goes against the government and goes to the station where Ky is on. She hopes to find Ky and begin the rest of her life.

I agree with Melissa how forbidden love is one of the main conflicts in this novel. I liked the way this conflict was introduced with the banquet. It made the rising action more interesting and gives you enough room to inference what Cassia is going to do.
