Matched Post Part 1

In the book Matched, Cassia is originally matched to her best friend, Xander. But when she inserts the microcard so she can  learn more about Xander, something happens, Instead of Xander's face popping up, a different face pops up. That face turns out to be Ky's. Ky moved to Cassia's Borough when she was ten and she has seen him around but in the last year he got a job and no longer goes to school with her. When she saw his face popped up, Cassia was very confused, so she talked to an Official. The Official told her that it was a mistake and that it will be fixed but Cassia is still matched with Xander. The Official also told her that Ky is an Aberration. He is a aberration because  his dad had committed  a crime in the past resulting into Ky will never be put in the Matching Pool. Ky will never be anyone's matched, he will forever be single. After this incident she bumps into Ky at the pool with Xander. After that she finds  out they are in the same hiking group together. So they start talking and Ky teaches her to write and they exchange poems. They start to fall in love. I just feel bad for Xander because Cassie just starts to forget about him, Xander really loved her but she doesn't see that since she falling for Ky. - Alyssa Ruiz
