Macthed Blog Post One

In society today they dictate what is acceptable and what is right and wrong. But in the novel Matched the Society dictate everything you do. Including who you are going to end up with and even when it is your time to die. Cassia had always played by the rules, but recently after the Matched Ball she starts to question everything she has ever believed in.

I agree with Sara, on how the society in which Cassia lives in is chooses everything for you, to the point even their food is chosen. At the match banquet, Cassia is matched with her best friend, Xander. But right when she puts the card in, another face flashes on the screen and it is Ky's face. Now Cassia is torn between who to choose.

I agree with both Sara on how the society chooses everything and with Madisen on the conflict between Ky and Xander. Later in the book when Cassia starts to fall in love with another boy, Ky Markham, everything changes. She later comes to feel like the Society shouldn’t have complete control over their lives. This is when Cassia starts to show signs of rebellion against the Society.
Cassia is constantly left wondering if the connection her and Ky developed was real or something that the Society built and controlled.
