Matched Post Two
In the novel, 'Matched', the main two themes are romance and choices. The main character, Cassia, has to make the choice between her best friend and a new, mysterious boy she has never really talked to, in terms of romance. Due to the dystopian setting, Cassia has been matched, or engaged, by the government to her best friend. In the end of the novel, she basically chooses the mysterious boy, Ky. These themes become one ultimate theme of choosing what you want out of life. I found that while the theme of choosing seemed to be more evident in the earlier chapters, the theme of love was more evident in the ending.

I agree that by the end of the novel love was the more relevant theme. Cassia ended up choosing Ky of Xander because she ultimately loved him more, going against what the society chose for her. It could have been done better but it was alright.
